Apple picking and weekly catch-up

This week marked three months that Em and I have been home. In those short months she has gone from a frightened baby to a toddler complete with likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses as well as the ability to change the life of everyone she meets. I couldn't be more proud to be her mother. She's been battling a cold all week (again) so we've been staying home and resting but decided some fresh air would be good. We drove to MP's, hung out with the family before setting out for a little drive to go apple picking. I didn't want her to overdo it so we only went for an hour or so but a good time was had by all. I'm not sure she gets the whole "picking" idea but she tried as well as actually ate some of an Ida Red apple. It was a beautiful weather day to walk around, pick apples, walk the mini corn maze and bring some cider home. I was glad to have the new camera and before I knew it a few hundred shots were taken. This week her famous phrase was "no bath" in addition to "mommy's boobies". Enjoy!

"Mommie's boobies!" Does she bring them up in wonderfully public places?

We go apple picking every year, and it has become a very anticipated tradition. I hope this was just the first of many journeys to the apple orchard with Emme, and MP. Hope Emme is feeling better, soon!

Hi Lisa,

These are great pictures of Em and the scenery. You mention that it's a new camera, would you mind telling me what you got? I've been debating whether to get a new camera or not for the past month or so and I really need to make a decision soon so I can practice before I travel next spring.
