My Heart Stood Still

Two weeks ago I sent two special care packages to my girl at her center. One was specifically for her and included a giraffe (aka Raffi), soft pink blanket, a photo album, some clothes, hair pretties, socks and a disposable camera for the Ayi's to take photos. In the other box I sent a dozen hats, socks and new toys for all the other children in addition to raisins for the kiddos and candy/lotions for the nannies. Oddly enough one hat was one that Lisa my secret pal sent me in 2006 shortly after the swap began when we thought we were getting babies. I'm so happy a little of Lisa's love is sitting atop my peanut's head right now even if it's a little snug. Even her BFF is comfortable enough in his manhood to don a chapeau with a butterfly.

Do you have ANY idea how lucky you are? That is the most amazing validation of the process that I have EVER seen! I'm so happy that she got your stuff and moreover is allowed to enjoy it! Woot!

This is wonderful! How sweet she is. And how great it is for you to see her with a little bit of the love you sent her already. What a special moment it might have been indeed...
