The Empress had a night terror at naptime for about 40 minutes. After it was over she giggled and wanted to play so we again tried to take her down to the Mattel playroom (The Swan Room). She kvetched at first but 10 minutes later was playing and interacting with others. Baby steps but we're getting there. Goodnight from Guangzhou

Sounds good!
Oh Yeah the straps. Sorry I didn't think of it either. Glenys hated being strapped too. Or we did it very very loosely. She mostly played with them. Cute pics. I am so glad things are going so much better. How is your mom faring? Is she now able to see this as the miracle it is? I hope so. I hope you both are. Wonderful wonderful progress. It will continue. Glenys' pic for her visa is awful. She is crying HARD because she was out of my dad's home. We totally bribed her with food on lots of things. Glenys loved my white chocolate candy bars I think you can get them still at the 7/11 across the street from you. Enjoy your time, it is almost time for your US life to begin as a mom.
Love,
Beverly & Glenys
Glad to hear things are improving. One day at a time.
You are doing a GREAT job...keep up the good work!
Peyton couldn't even stand a VERY light blanket on her...that was too much of a restraint.

Thanks for all the updates- glad to hear things continue to get better :)
Pictures Mommy!!! Pictures!!!!
Glad to hear she's doing so well! Try the water on the wrists thing for the night terrors. It worked like a charm on my DD#2.BTW, home almost 2 years and she's still not fond of Chinese women. Go no!!!!!!!

Glad that things are starting to get better!
I have been so busy at work of late that I haven't had a chance to stop by - but have thought of you and hoping all was going well... I see that things have really picked up... this is great... love to you all Lisa... take care
Things will just keep getting better!! Remind yourself of that when things seem tough. My daughter was 28 months old when I adopted her. I think it's a tough age because they are old enough to know what is going on, but not able to understand why.
